Please complete the below information for the individual registering as an attendee. If the person making the payment is different, you may adjust that information in the payment portal.


Registration information:

  • Both in-person registrants and virtual registrants have access to all on-line content during the full conference period, as well as 30-day post-conference access to recorded on-line content.  
  • LMIC registrants are residents of least developed, low income, and lower middle income countries/territories who are eligible for reduced registration. LMIC eligibility is determined based on the OECD criteria posted here. (Note that residents of upper middle income countries/territories are NOT eligible for LMIC registration.) The same reduced, LMIC registration rate applies for both in-person and virtual registration types. 




Note that the twilight reception cruise is included with the reception fee only for those who register for the full in-person conference. Single day registrants have the option to pay an additional nonrefundable fee to join. Contact academyofaphasia12@gmail.com if you are a single day registrant who would like to attend the reception.

Everyone attending in person has the option to bring guest(s) on the twilight reception cruise for an additional $100 nonrefundable fee per guest. The guest reception fee will be added to the registration fee if you check "yes" below, or may be arranged later by emailing academyofaphasia12@gmail.com.
 





Childcare information:

Subject to availability of funds, the Academy may offer a modest stipend to help offset child care expenses for conference attendees. The Academy is also providing registrants with a list of local child care options and access to a dedicated suite at the Grand Horton Hotel that may be used during the conference for child care purposes. Please indicate if you would like to be receive a child care stipend (subject to availability), to receive the list of local child care options, and to have access to the dedicated child care suite during the conference. Note: you must register by 31 August 2025 for eligibility.



Cancellation policy:

There is no cancellation penalty to switch from in-person to online registration prior to Monday September 29, 2025 (5pm EDT). Requests should be emailed to academyofaphasia12@gmail.com. Refunds will be issued for the difference between the paid amount and the online registration rate in effect on the date the request is made, less any fees charged by Stripe. We will be unable to accommodate any changes or refunds requested after Monday September 29, 2025 to cover the Academy’s contractual obligations to the conference and reception venues. Online/virtual registrations permit 30-day access to recorded talks and the online poster hall and are nonrefundable. Online/virtual attendance is available for all registrants of any type.

You will not receive a confirmation email until payment is completed.
